When we hear about Elon Musk, Michael Jordan, Stephen Hawkings, Bill Gates and many other people who have accomplished so many incredible things, we might start to think that they are simply born with all those abilities that have made them possible to accomplish what they are known for. We might not be guilty to think like that, as media is constantly showing up only the successes that they have had.

Their countless struggles and insecurities throughout their entire life are merely mentioned, because that might not look that good. Being successful is what grabs a lot of attention.

There are a lot of cases where people that are known for so many great things simply were not that successful at every stage of their life, or at the very least have had their own difficulties. As we try to do our jobs and pursue our dreams, we might regularly doubt ourselves, and our abilities. We might have a failure here and there, or might struggle to learn something new that we are supposed to learn at our job. However, our difficulties can be overshadowed when we see the great struggles that other people have had. This article shows some interesting cases of people that have had some physical disabilities, but that have managed to overcome them despite the odds. It is very inspiring when you see them with such great willpower and determination to do their best.

Whenever we feel discouraged or have fear that we might not be that talented or skilled enough, it is important to remind ourselves that there are probably people who have a lot more pain and difficulties than we do, yet surprise us with their accomplishments. Perhaps these struggles are also a very important factor that they put in more energy and effort that differentiates their work at such a remarkable level.

As we are still breathing, we are blessed with so many opportunities that we can use and that there is no reason to be depressed, demotivated and discouraged. We should try to learn from our past failures, use the difficulties that we have to our own advantage and constantly strive to do our work at the highest levels of excellence.
